Learning as a full-time job

Once upon a time and very long ago, there was a place called University. You graduated (hopefully) and then you got a job (granted, this was a very long time ago). Then you worked, until retirement. Learning was done on the job. Now and forever, I'm guessing based on what we see and predict, we are all learners.

I am lucky enough to have learning from others while they learn from me be my full-time job. That means the blessing of learning while not working, as well.

I have to be able to provide material and insights, news and perspectives that together form a worldview that encompasses other worldviews, in other languages.

I work in English and in Spanish and I learn more there, too. That is the beauty of languages. They are a life-long process and give you a life-long open mind.
